Define cut length range, profile materials, daily frame count, and power/air on site before you compare FOB quotes.
Include rail width min/max, materials (pine, MDF, aluminium), corner angles, target cycle time, and available utilities (380V/220V, CFM). Attach photos of typical moulding sections. Vague RFQs produce mismatched machines and change-order costs later.
Look for in-house assembly of joiners and cutters, spare parts shelf for wear items, and application engineers who ask about your moulding — not only price. Ask to see a machine running your profile category (hardwood vs PS).
Confirm incoterms, crating, and who wires remote support. Stock V-nails, blades, and critical sensors locally if downtime cost is high. Clarify warranty, response time, and whether video support is included in the first year.
