Expensive dense hardwoods (oak, ash, walnut) caused constant V-nail jams and misfires on vintage Cassese and Fletcher pneumatic machines — scrapping premium moulding and delaying deliveries.

Solution

XKY engineering identified timing desync between top clamp descent and bottom striker on dense wood. NN700 units with Smart Hardwood Mode sense resistance and dynamically balance clamp pressure and strike speed in milliseconds.
