The 7mm MDF V-Nail Underpinner is a high-volume framing fastener from Xiong Ye's V-Nails product line. The 7mm penetration depth is optimised for MDF (medium-density fibreboard) and soft-wood mouldings commonly used in entry-level and mid-range picture frames.

The distinctive V-shape drives both legs simultaneously into the miter joint, compressing the wood fibres and creating a mechanical lock that holds even without glue, although using wood glue in combination with the 7mm MDF V-Nail Underpinner is recommended for maximum strength.

This nail is best suited for thin MDF mouldings (channel depth 5–10 mm), standard photo frames, and high-volume production environments where speed and nail consistency are critical.
