Commissioning chapter from NN300-ICM-001. Press Set Length and Set Width after every value change or the mechanism will not move.

NN300 Installation

HMI Length & Width Commissioning

Target running clearance is approximately 0.5 mm. Adjust in 0.1 mm steps and re-confirm with Set Length / Set Width.

Length and width entry

Open Parameter Adjustment or Length/Width Adjustment from the bottom navigation bar.

Press Reset on each column before entry
Enter length (mm) and width values — Width 1 and Width 2 identical for square frames
Press Set Length and Set Width to confirm each change
Wait for mechanism to stop before reaching into the station

Clearance check (~0.5 mm)

Place moulding display-face up. Slide left/right with light finger pressure — no binding, no excessive play.

If too tight, increase values in 0.1 mm steps; if too loose, decrease
Press Set Length or Set Width after each adjustment
Verify both length and width directions before nailing setup

Nailing row configuration

On the Automatic Screen, set Distance (up to 10 rows) and Nail Count per row. Match Row 1 and Row 2 to physical nail exits.

Trial-nail one piece before batch production
Press Reset on Automatic Screen when setup is complete

HMI commissioning FAQ

Why must I press Set Length / Set Width after every change?

The XINJE HMI only commands axis motion after confirmation. Without it, clearance checks and nailing setup will be invalid.

What clearance should I target?

Approximately 0.5 mm running clearance. Too tight causes nail misalignment; too loose affects positioning accuracy.
